General Rules

The rules of the IAAF and the Deutschen Leichtathletik Verbandes (DLV) apply. Everyone who registers by the 30.04.04 deadline is entitled to take part in the chosen discipline, independent of membership of an association, but for those who register after the deadline, participation depends on available space in an event and the date when registration is received.

Date of birth of participants will determine which age group they are placed in.

Age groups for men and women are:

under 18
18 to 29
30 to 39
40 to 49
50 to 59
60 to 69
70 to 79
...

In any age grouping, at least three participants are needed to compete, so that a score or assessment can be established in the respective age group. If there are fewer than three participants in an age group, they will be placed in the lower age group. If there are too few competitors in the under 18 group, they will be placed in the upper age group.

Competition rules

If there are less than three participants for any event, the event will not take place. In this case we will inform those who registered, and if there is no alternative event in which they want to compete, we will refund the registration fee.

All participants must be checked in at the latest one hour before the start of the event. Anyone who does not check in on time, will not be allowed to take part in any other events on that day. If there are fewer than three competitors for an event after the end of the check-in, that event will not be held and competitors will then be informed
