Free Climbing

The Freeclimbing competition will be held at the German Alpine Club´s Climbing Centre in Thalkirchen, one of the largest and best equipped climbing facilities in Europe.

Friday 30.7.2004, 9am to 5pm

Rules

The competition heats will involve climbs of increasing difficulty, with men and women competing together. The finals will take place "on sight", when men and women will compete separately.

Disabled competitors will be integrated in the competition as far as possible.

Information required

Please indicate on registration:

• the maximum degree of difficulty climbed on artificial climbing walls
• the degree of difficulty managed with certainty (on sight) on artificial climbing walls
• the degree of difficulty attained according to FRA, UIAA and USA
• since when do you have experience in climbing

Equipment required

Climbing Harness, climbing shoes, chalk-ball (no loose chalk), HMS-Carabiner or equivalent security equipment, rope (not for the competition). Equipment can be hired at the climbing centre.
