Important Information on Accreditation

We ask athletes and spectators who have booked the "LaOla" Ticket to collect their ID's personally at one of the accreditation desks. For legal and technical reasons it may not be done by a proxy, such as a team college.

How do I get to the SUB?
U-Bahn station: Sendlinger Tor (U1, U2, U3, U6, U7, U8). Exit: Müllerstrasse, appr. two minutes by foot on the right hand side of the street to Müllerstrasse 43.

What's the way to the Olympic Grounds?
U-Bahn line U3 direction "Olympiazentrum" (last stop). Exit at the back of the train – travel time: 12 minutes from Marienplatz.

Since there will have to be an accreditation procedure for some 7,500 people, we would greatly appreciate your accreditation as early as possible to reduce waiting times.

Welcome to Munich!
The Opening Ceremony of the EuroGames will be starting on 29.7.2004 at 20h00. Everybody who has so far received an ID may participate in this ceremony. Unfortunately the security service cannot admit anyone who does not show an ID or an admission ticket.

Cultural Events Tickets in Rainbow Village
Besides your ID, you will also get all the cultural events and party tickets you reserved at the accreditation desks. We'll take your picture needed for your ID right on site. Besides that we'll also be distributing the Welcome Package with the complete program, information on your sport activities and, where necessary, start numbers.

Visitors who have not booked the LaOla ticket will receive their booked tickets for cultural events during accreditation.

Some 7,500 people are expected for accreditation. Please collect your ID as early as possible to avoid long waiting times.

Participation at the EuroGames in Munich

Munich will be delighted to welcome you, when the IX. EuroGames will be officially opened in the Olympic Hall on the 29th of July 2004. Under the patronage of the Lord Mayor, Christian Ude, sportsmen and women from the whole of Europe will compete over four days in 26 disciplines. Regardless of background, sexual orientation, religious or political beliefs, everyone is welcome to attend. Disabled competitors in particular are encouraged to take part.

The registration for the most sports ended on 30th of April. Since 1^st of March sport registration costs 78 Euro for members of the EGLSF, non-members pay 88 Euro.

Unfortunately, too few people have registered for line dance. We were forced to cancel this competition at all.

Athletes with HIV or AIDS: Refund of participation fee / Book project

The German AIDS-foundation in Bonn will be refunding on request the participation fee of the EuroGames 2004 for all athletes with HIV and AIDS.
We are looking for field reports of positive athletes for a book project "BLICKPUNKT HIV/AIDS" ("FOCUS HIV/AIDS") of the German AIDS-foundation.
