ACCOMMODATION

What accommodation is available?

During EuroGames you should be able to concentrate completely on the sport, the numerous cultural events and life in the city. For that reason we already have in the programme a wide selection of accommodation, from which we are sure you will find something to suit you.

All accommodation offers can be booked at the online registration. Visitors of the EuroGames, not taking part at any sport event may register as visitor and book an accommodation as well as tickets for parties and cultural events.

We have negotiated very good prices for hotel rooms as you can see...

Hotels

Together with our partner agency Contour Travel Services in Munich we have assembled for you a list of attractive hotels, in which you can find rooms to suit every budget. All prices are per person per night. Breakfast, service charge and taxes are included in the price. There is an additional charge for single rooms.

Please note that you can only book a category of hotel. A specific hotel can not be guaranteed by EuroGames. In general we will book the centrally located hotels first. This means that those who book early will be sure of the best accommodation.

Terms of payment
When your participation is confirmed you will be requested to make an advance payment corresponding to the price for one night as a guarantee. As soon as we receive this payment contour travel services will send you a confirmation of the reservation. The remaining amount will be due by 30th April 2004. You will receive a request for this payment in good time.

Conditions for cancellation
Should you have to cancel a confirmed reservation, the following charges will be due:

• 25 Euro per room up to 31^st December 2003
• 50 Euro per room from 1^st January to 31^st May 2004
• 50% of the total amount from 1^st to 30^th June 2004
• 80% of the total amount from 1^st July 2004 onwards

Hosted Housing

Those of you who would prefer, instead of a hotel, to stay in a private room in the Munich "scene" should apply for private accommodation, which will be made available without charge to the participants of EuroGames by the gays and lesbians of Munich.

In principle all participants may apply for private accommodation. Preferential treatment will be given to participants from the Outreach-Regions. We will allocate the remaining private rooms on the "first come, first served" principle. For this reason we are unfortunately not in a position to guarantee private accommodation during EuroGames. However you will be informed in good time whether or not we can allocate you a room - about two months before the start of EuroGames. We will then let you know the name of whoever will be welcoming you in Munich and where you will be staying. For this service we will charge a fee of EUR 15,00. This money will go entirely towards the financing of EuroGames.

Olympic Regatta Course

Single, double and dormitory rooms are available not only for the rowers and triathletes who wish to stay close to the sports venue. Everybody can book rooms at the Regatta Course. Breakfast, service charge and taxes are already included in the price.

Transport connections
During the EuroGames we will arrange a shuttle service with buses between the station Feldmoching on the S- und U-Bahn and the Olympic Regatta Course. The S1 line of the S-Bahn connects the city center with the Munich Airport - it takes 15 minutes from the central rail station (Hauptbahnhof) to Feldmoching. The U2 line of the U-Bahn takes 17 minutes. The station Feldmoching is within the scope of the public transport ticket which all participants and visitors with the "La Ola" package will receive when getting accredited.

The Regatta Course can also easily be reached by car. It is only 300 m from the Oberschleißheim exit of the Autobahn A 92. Alternatively one can reach the course by using a 3km long footpath from the station Oberschleißheim on the S-Bahn.
