PLEASE NOTE

If a player doesn't show up after the third announcement he will be disqualified.

Please bring the result of your match immediately after finishing it to the tournament desk in hall 2! This is the only possibility for us to guarantee a fluent procedure of the tournament. In order to support you during the tournament, we will organize volunteers who will be pleased to give you a helping hand at any time.

WARM-UP TIMES

You can warm-up yourself before starting your match for max. 2-3 minutes. Please follow this rule, otherwise we cannot guarantee a fluent procedure of the tournament. We also ask you to respect the instructions of our volunteers who might – if your warm-up time is exceeded – ask you to start playing your match.

SHUTTLES

All shuttles will be provided by the tournament organizer. Levels C and B- play with plastic shuttles, (shuttle speed: blue). Levels B+ and A play with feathers (medium shuttle speed: 77, all brand YONEX).

VOLUNTEERS

Volunteers wear specific "volunteer" T-shirts.

In each sports hall you will notice volunteers supporting both you and the tournament organisers, i.e. they will primarily look at your warm-up time and – if necessary – ask you start playing your match. Besides, they will – especially in sports hall 3 – keep an eye on the devices and installations in order to avoid damage or misuse. And finally, they will support you in regard to the result sheets and answer your questions concerning the tables and the tournament schedule.

One volunteer per hall is equipped with a walkie-talkie in order to guarantee the fastest contact to the tournament board.

AWARD CEREMONY

The award ceremony will take place directly after the final matches on both days.

The results and the winners of the respective competitions of Friday will be available on Saturday at the "Rainbow Village" and will be pinned up in each of the three sports halls.

REFEREES

The half finals and the final matches (1st place, 3rd place women and men) will be leaded by referees. These are licensed referees of the Upper Bavarian Badminton Association.

The walk from the station to the ZHS takes you approx. 15 minutes.

OVERVIEW HALLS

THE SPORTS HALLS

The ZHS (Central University sports complex) consists of different sports halls in which the EuroGames will take place. For badminton there are three halls, which are all located in a row on ground floor (as illustrated on the plan).

We have numbered the sports halls from hall no. 1 through to hall no. 3. The tournament board and organisation are located in hall 2. On Saturday afternoon, hall 1 will be used for different finals of other sports.

Hall 3 is not only used for sports like badminton. A number of different devices and installations for athletics, track and field and climbing are found on both sides of the hall. In order to avoid damage or misuse, the ZHS points out that it is not allowed to use these installations. For this reason, this area is clearly marked off and we ask you not to leave the area especially created for the badminton matches, which will be played on special mobile badminton courts as they are also used for high-ranking championship tournaments (including all the equipment such as umpire's stools, etc.).

LOCKERS

The available lockers can be used against a fee of EUR 1,00. The ones located on the ground floor of hall 1 are fairly narrow and in case you cannot fit your sports bag, you may bring it with you into the hall. In this case, however, you will have to look after it yourself. The tournament organisers cannot be held responsible for losses or thefts.
