Tour description
Start of the tour is the station in Gmund. First sidewalk, then a good bicycle lane towards Bad Wiessee (uphill - downhill), in Bad Wiessee to the strand promenade (very nice path, forbidden for bikes), than we go up on the right hand side (the bicycle road is partially not tarmaced), a short way on the bicycle lane next to the mainroad, then left again, downhill to the Rehaklinik, there we stay right on the bicycle lane (2 bad spots). Then along the Ringsee next to the Bundesstrasse, left towards Rottach-Egern, follow the sign for "Tegernsee".
Nice waterside path (newly done) which leads towards the southeast end of the lake (quick stop on the right-hand side to the second-best ice cafe in Bavaria) then on the sidewalk to Tegernsee. In Tegernsee we have to be careful because of pedestrians, traffic etc.) Afterwards there is a good path on the cycle lane towards Gmund. Alltogether it will take us 2 hours incl. a break.
