Tour description

Tegernsee and Schliersee are some of the most beautiful Alp lakes of the Munich "house mountains".

A traditional "Heidi-Walk" is the crossing of the Gindelalmschneid. If you have managed the first part of the ascencion (about 2 hours) you have a marvelous view of the Tegernsee surrounded by picturesque mountains. Within a few steps a view on the Schliersee which is smaller than the Tegernsee but no less spectacular.

This walk is an easy mountain tour, where you need walking boots, sun glasses, drinks and "Brotzeit" (= light snack) or some money for the huts which serve drinks and food but you don't need any special training beforehand. You might want to bring your bathing suit as there might be possibility to go bathing in Schliersee before we go back to Munich by train.
