Tour description
From Munich we go by train via Garmisch to Griesen, 825m.
From their we start our walk. In the beginning the path goes north pretty evenly. Then, at about 1000m we take a right on a crossway and ascent through the spare mountain forest in narrow slopes. At the Sukeneck, 1672 m, we get to the ridge, and continue walking on the left towards the peak.
After a long break we start the descent, turning westwards, along the ridge where a short rope-track gets us to the Brandjoch. From the we walk to the Schellalm and through the impressive Schellaine Klamm until we get to the crossway at 1000 m hight where we easily walk back to Griesen.
