In some 150 watercolors and sketches, Munich artidt Robert C. Rore presents his personal vistas of Munich: he depicts the "Barberini Faun" from the Glyptothek as well as the hunky Eisbach surfers and the phallic towers of the Church of our Lady. Clichés have right of way. Rore's view is pleasently subjective and garnished with a sly wink and plenty of irony!

This fits right in with the amusing chapters penned by Lilian Schacherl, in which she sheds light on the city's history and the quirks of the native Münchners. The book is a cover-to-cover declaration of love to Munich, which makes it an ideal gift for friends, relatives, guests and a super souvenir for everyone taking part in the EuroGames.
